Precious Safavid Persian rugs were the best choices. These kinds of costly silk carpets with gold and silver wrapped threads, shimmering enchanted forests of lotus flowers, convoluted arabesques and palmettes were woven in the imperial Safavid workshops in Isfahan and Kashan during ruling of the Shah Abbas I of Persia which was considered the apex of the art of carpet weaving. Muratowicz placed his orders to produce exquisite rugs with vibrant colours and symmetrical patterns refer to the tastes of the Polish court. Artworks with Persian traditional designs were joined by traditional Polish and European motifs led to some pieces special, the world had never seen something like them before. A conjunction of the East and the West is the reason why the works were later erroneously termed Polonaise carpets. About 300 of these beautiful masterpieces still exist today. Iran and Poland were wings of an eagle that added an indelible part to the history of cultural transfer and human art. Now, after centuries, Boustani Glorious Handicrafts with its Polish trade partners are dedicated to re-design and re-present a collection of modern Persian rugs that is inspired by these masterpieces refer to the minimal theme of 21st century named POLONAISE XXI. A brilliant, historical bridge between East and West to show the world how different cultures have gotten along well together to make the world more beautiful place for living.

When storing a rug (especially a heavy winter one), have it professionally cleaned and wrapped before storing in a climate-controlled area to avoid damage. If exposed to direct sunlight, rug colors typically fade over time, even if they are fade resistant. Clean spills immediately. Once a stain is set, it becomes much more difficult to clean. When pet hair accumulates in a rug, brush the rug vigorously with a stiff clothes brush or utility brush.
